IDAS digital function

Icom IC-F4230 handheld radio provides IDAS digital function based on NXDN CAI protocol. It is compatible with the conventional multi site mode of IDAS system and the cluster mode of multi site and single site.

IP67 waterproof and dustproof

IC-F4230 has excellent waterproof and dustproof ability (in line with European IP67 standard). It can withstand 1m deep water for 30 minutes and the dust-proof structure can prevent the entry of powdery dust.

Loud and clear sound quality

The built-in BTL (bridge ted load) audio amplifier can make the speaker output up to 1000mW of sound. In the digital communication mode, reliable definition can also be provided at the communication edge.

8-character LCD

8-character LCD screen, user-friendly interface can display various information and working status, such as caller’s name, received information, etc.

Roaming Scan

In the multi site trunking mode, if the signal environment becomes worse due to user mobility, roaming scanning will automatically find the next new site to ensure communication connectivity and quality.
