Icom GM800 MF HF Marine GMDSS Transceiver
Icom GM800 is a unified MF/HF transceiver for the Global Maritime Distress and Safety System (GMDSS), providing automatic distress alerting and distress communication services via location information. The GM800 has an IPX7 water resistance rating and a corrosion-resistant coating on the back panel for reliable operation and long-lasting durability in harsh offshore environments.

The dedicated Digital Selective Calling (DSC) receiver continuously scans six distress channels in sequence. A 10-character ID name can store 100 DSC calls to MMSI members. The DSC multitasking function displays up to seven DSC programs. GM800 can also send distress relay calls.

The 4.3-inch color TFT LCD screen provides a wide viewing angle of nearly 180 degrees and displays high-resolution characters and function icons. . Even with the radio mounted on the dashboard, the operator can clearly identify the displayed information from a variety of angles. . The night mode display ensures good readability in low light conditions.

Most of the functions used are assigned to softkeys (bottom of the display) for quick access to functions. The large 10-key keyboard allows you to smoothly enter channel numbers, MMSI numbers and ID names, etc. .
